Art Explosion Studios will be holding its 12th Annual Spring Open Studios on March 23rd thru 25th. Come see over 140 artists as they exhibit their work from their studios. Painters, sculptures, photographers, fashion designers, jewelers and textile artists will be showing. Please come and support original local artists, expand your art collection and find great deals. The opening reception gala will be on Friday, March 23rd from 7-11pm. On Sat & Sun we will have open studios from 12 – 5pm. As always, Free Admission and Free Refreshments.

About Me	Michiko Fujii Fowler is a painter who has been based in San Francisco, California since 2008. A native of Japan, she graduated from the Sokei Academy of Fine Art & Design in Tokyo where she received the Sokei Award and the Takazawa Award. Her work is part of the Saku Museum of Modern Art permanent collection and has appeared in a variety of exhibitions. In 2007, she lived as an artist-in-residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Her chief artistic concerns are with the phenomenon of painting itself and the paradoxical relationship between materials, surfaces, and space.
